Insight Somalia is nonpartisan media organisation that informs its readers — and engages with them — about public policy, politics, security, government and countrywide issues. We’re dedicated to providing our readers with better, more insightful analysis of the most important policy issues of the day.
Our goal is also to amplify the voices of emerging analysts by giving them a platform to reach a large audience. Our contributors bring with them unique knowledge and local experiences that inform our audiences about critical issues and events across the region.
We also republish relevant papers to widen the discussion and inject evidence into public debate. Our agenda is to serve the public by making knowledge available to everyone rather than a select few.
Our focus is on bridging the gap between traditional ideas of power and conflict with cross-cutting issues. We believe in providing content that is both engaging for the domestic and regional affairs specialist as well as the interested generalist. We aim to provide a diverse set of narratives and viewpoints on every issue. At Insight, we address the growing demands for timely and engaging content and are committed to delivering the best experience possible.
